The hallmark of our clinic is the practice of ‘Microscope-Enhanced Dentistry’ – simply put ‘Microscope-Enhanced Dentistry’ is the performance of certain dental procedures with the aid of a dental operating microscope. The powerful magnification and illumination provided by the microscope permit a high degree of precision and more conservative, less invasive treatment is possible. In particular, root canal treatment is rendered precise with higher success rates, aesthetic restorations and crowns too benefit from the accuracy possible at higher magnification, and certain surgical procedures are also less invasive under magnification.

On the top of the picture, we see 2 images (A and B) of ultra-conservative root canal openings made under the microscope. Minimally invasive 3-dimensional cleaning is possible in the root canal system visualized under magnification. The images (C and D) show minimal intervention aesthetic fillings on the front and back teeth respectively. Magnification permits a more accurate placement and finishing of the margins of fillings, veneers and crowns. Lastly, the image (E) reveals a hair-line crack in a premolar tooth which would not have been visible to the naked eye. Thus microscope-enhanced dentistry is a refinement of existing dental procedures rendered extremely precise and predictable.
